Teacher Education Enrichment Mini-Grants are awarded to teachers or community members after a competitive grant process. The projects are approved based on their innovativeness, collaboration between disciplines, and their experiential nature. Grants range in size from $100 - $1000
The College & Career Achievent Planning and OnTarget Programs offer students the opportunity to visit colleges and attend workshops that will prepare them to narrow their career choices, select & attend a college, and be successful at their choices.
Our Tools for Learning Collaborative. Many times parents must make the hard choice between food, lights, and school supplies. We allow our community to not be forced into an impossible choice through offering FREE school supplies to those in need.
Through a collaboration with the Tax Collector's Office, we are promoting the Kids Tag Project: supporting art in the schools.
The Youth Advisory Council empowers the youth in our county to develop their voices and take responsibility for their education. They develop creative interactive approaches to engaging their peers in the educational process. It empowers them to control their destiny through 'active' participation, wise choices, social interactions, college and career decisions, and civic engagement.
